If you're ever in northern Bucks county this little gem of a park is great http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/ralphstover.aspx. It offers a real nice moderate hike through a beautiful woods along the Tohickon Creek. If you park at the campgrounds or at the picnic area and hike the whole path to and from it'll take you about 2hrs. The trail is rocky, tree stumped and a fair workout at several points so you should be in good health. Wear sturdy shoes, bring your dog and watch out for the bikers, who share the trail, although there are alternate trails used mainly by the bikers. I like to go early in the morning before the casual walkers show up and I often find that I'm the only one there and I feel like I'm in the middle of the Catskills. The scene changes around every bend. Be sure to stop and look over the 200' drop at High Rocks which overlooks the creek. Rock climbers are welcome here as well. I really love this park. If you start at the picnic grounds by the red bridge here's what you do; cross the bridge, walk up the road past a few houses and when you get to the curve in the road street sign go up into the woods and that's where the trail begins. When you get to the campgrounds (where there's a water tap) you're at the end. Enjoy!
