I hiked the trail September of 2003 and August 2004. The trail skirts the west rim of The Pine Creek Gorge aka The PA Grand Canyon. Reliable water the length of the trail with a picnic area equipped with pit toilets and a water pump near the mid way point. No matter how your hike breaks up it's easy to find a place to pitch your tent along this trail. Lots of climbs and descents while moving along the rim and away from it into the nearby wilderness. The vistas along this hike are awesome and help make the trek even more worth while. You can view my photos and journals from the trail at www.perryzip.com.
