This trail is located in Ray Harral Nature Park. I would not load up the car and take a road trip for this one but if your in the area it is worth a stop. This is a multi-looped trail so the length will vary. From the parking lot you can take the west trail or the east. It really dosen't matter because you'll end up back in the parking lot eventually either way. I would start by taking the west trail it leads to a suspended bridge that goes over the creek and into the woods. Along the trail you'll see wild flowers, lot's of honeysuckle that you can smell throughout the trail, a creek, a pond which contains turtles and occasionally ducks or cranes and snakes. If you walk softly and pay attention you'll see a variety of birds such as Cardnials, Woodpecker's, Gold Finches, Indigo Bunting, Blue Jay's and more. There are two shelters along the trail with picnic tables also.
