Description
Best place to start is at the Mohican State Park Camp Ground A on route 3, just south of Loudonville. We hiked up the North Rim Trail and accessed the area called Hickory Ridge where there are three primitive camp areas. Leaving Hickory Ridge we hiked down the gorge from the Stone Pavillion and went across the covered bridge to access the Lyons Falls Trail. We hiked past a couple of great water falls and ended up at the dam at Pleasant Hill Lake. From here we headed down the Pleasant Hill trail back to the covered bridge and took the trail along the river all the way back to the campground. A gorgeous hike.

There is many more miles of trails to hike here.

Directions to Hike
Just off state route 97 south of Loudonville, OH at the State Park Camp Grounds.
