I would have thought that after hiking this trail for the third time it would get easier, but guess again. Steep hills that arent switched backed with an elevation of 1200 feet up and down. In the summer time you arent able to enjoy the view much because of the heavy tree lines. The green brayer in the summer is everywhere. Were long pants. Seems like the trails are becoming over grown from not being used much. We didnt see a single hiker in the five days we were there. The water spots are at a distance but we did "cheat" and camp by the water at campsite 1 and campsite 3. Otherwise the campsites were 1/2-3/4 mile away from the water. DONT use the latrines, YaK. This would be a good hike to test your legs and lungs though if you are into that kind of thing.
