3,170 ft exposed summit with views of Taylor Pond and Silver Lake. North of Whiteface. Starts out flat through some interesting moss covered clearings, crosses a stream, the climbs steeply through a magnificent stand of birch trees to an exposed rocky ridge with LOTS of blueberries to snack on (late july/august). Continue along the ridge in and out of conifer stands, then a rocky climb up through a vertical "lemon squeezer", after that, exposed views on the exposed approach to the summit - follow the cairns. 360 views from the summit - High peak region to the south, ponds to the north, Whiteface to the west.
