Description
A beutiful hike in the high peaks region of the Adirondak Mountains. The hike from upper works parking lot to duck hole is strenuous and will take an experienced hiker about 3.5 to 4 hours. The payoff of this hike though is seeing Duck hole, which is a beutiful lake with great views. The hike from duck hole to Bradley Pond is difficult because the trail is rarley used and very overgrown. When you get to Bradley pond their is a strenuous climb for about a mile with a gain of about 500 feet of elevation. I was disapointed with Bradley Pond it was very muddy and there was a lot of campers. The hike from here starts out very muddy but is down hill all the way out to the road. The hike is well worth it. I recomend staying at duck hole for more that one day there is a lot of day hiking and bushwacking to be done here.
