Pine Barrens region in Wharton State Forest. This loop is good for a day hike or overnight backpack. Primative campground at the end of the trail.Riverside. Stunted pine trees, tea-colored streams, and soft sand roads. the trail is completely flat yet it is strenuous because of the soft sand. Unfortunatly, much of trail is open to 4WD traffic which gets busy at times.
