Description
Enjoyed the trail with my six year old daughter yesterday while on a Geocaching expedition. On the boardwalk thru the swamp we were able to get some great pictures of an Osprey at his nest. A must see.

Directions to Hike
Take Highway 315 from Sardis toward Sardis Dam. After passing the boundary for the dam there will be a gravel road to the right. If you cross the bridge that goes over the old river channel/emergency spillway outlet you have gone too far. Follow the gravel road for about one mile. The trailhead will be on the left. You’ll also pass where the trail crosses the road right before you come to the trailhead.
