This trail travels from the Rocky Springs Campground on the Natchez Trace to the Owens Creek waterfalls. The trail follows along the Natchez Trace, but is mainly in the woods off the roadway. The first part of the trail is not difficult with slight rises and falls over the terrain. The last part of the trail consists of moving over a series of very steep ridges that are perpendicular to the trail. At the end of the trail are two small waterfalls which can also be accessed from the Natchez Trace. The neat thing about this trail is that is easy to feel like the early travelers along the trace and slightly experience waht they might have felt.
