This is a great trail for a 5 or 6 day hike. It is well marked with the Ozark Trail, green on white rectangle. Also with white diamond markers. Starting at the western trail head you will climb to the ridge top & follow it around until you drop into Spring Creek. Climbing by switchbacks & following the Mountion tops , it is a nice hike to Bockman Spring, located in a valley where a old homestead used to be. This is a great campsite. The trail winds around until you get some great views of the Eleven Point River. Greers Crossing is a Public campground & will make a great campsite. Continue on east with views of the Eleven Point River, crossing several creeks . The trail is rocky in places, but the beauty of the Ozark Trail is there to enjoy. You cross county roads, for easy take out. When you reach Hwy. 60, there is a parking aera where you can continue on north on the Ozark Trail
