This is the place if you want spectular views and overlooks of Lake Superior. The trail follows the rugged shoreline with many changes of elevation and very close to many 200-300 foot drops to the lake (This is not a good hike for young children)Many camps along the trail that you must use, be sure to bring a water purifyer and warm clothing even in summer as Superior is well known for its sudden change in weather(When I went the night time low reached 32degrees). Some of the camps are in reasonable walking distance for day users and therefore the pit toilets are misused. This is a great hike and would recommend it highly
