Very qiet place. Best if hiked in Fall. Salmon inhabit the river. The hike start and ends at Deadmans Hill over looking the whole valley. Bring your camera on this one folks! :) The valley also has a few ponds where Beaver can be seen. There is also a Federal Fish Hatchery in the Area. Theres only one place to camp. Thats at the Pinney Ridge Walk-in campground. The site has a pit toilet, fire rings, water pump, and a $8 dollar a night self-pay station fee. Maps may be obtained at the pay station. All LeaveNoTrace RULES APPLY. the campground is locatted in a feild where Dear sleep and walk through all th time. *Also when hiking look out for little blue diamonds marked on trees. follow those! Its very easy to get lost when the leaves blanket the trail its hard to keep track on the trail.
