Description
Marginal Way is a beautiful coastal hike along the rugged, southern Maine coast. It is an easy hike on a well maintained, even path with many benches to take a load off your feet. The added bonus is the view of the wide Atlantic Ocean. On some days when the sun hits the water just right, it sparkles like diamonds. The path twists and turns through a tunnel of trees with lovely seaside mansions along the way. No wonder the Ogunquit Indians called this "a beautiful place by the sea" It truly is!

Directions to Hike
Interstate 95 North to Maine. You may take the first exit when entering Maine to Route 1 North. Driving through Kittery and Cape Neddick, Ogunquit is the next town. Stop at the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce north of the Ogunquit Playhouse. Marginal Way is a short distance away. Be sure to check all the many other activities Ogunquit and coastal Maine has to offer! You will not be sorry!!
