Mammmoth Cave National Park is the setting for this hike with an overnighter at Collie Ridge campsite. The trail itself is torn up considerably by horse traffic. It looks as though a lot more horses than people use these trails in the park. The scenery is beautiful as befitting a National Park and the campsite was great with our own private waterfall practically in the campsite. So If you can put up with large sections of muddy torn-up trail, when you get to the sites you are rewarded by beautiful places to camp.
