Description
This is one of the most difficult hikes on the Knobstone Trail. It is very hilly. If you plan on going up to the Jackson Road Trail Head then be ready for a very steep hill. It is a challenging hike. I did find a very cool camping spot on the top of a mountain. Please note that this trail has little or no water sources, you will have to bring your own in!

Directions to Hike
From Interstate I-65 take exit no.16 Memphis. Go west on Memphis-Blue Lick road for 2.2 miles and turn left on Bartle Knob road. Follow Bartle Knob road 6.3 miles to top of knobs and turn right on Hilltop road. Follow Hilltop for .2 mile and turn right on gravel forest road. Follow gravel road about .2 mile to Jackson Trailhead on right.
