Description
Hike around the rim of an ancient tuff cone. Superb views of the nearby ocean and perhaps even a humpback whale or two. Some narrow sections and crumbly trail underfoot.

Directions to Hike
From downtown Honolulu, head east on H-1 freeway. The freeway eventually ends and becomes Kalanianaole Hwy. Follow the latter past Hanauma Bay and Sandy Beach. Just past Sandy Beach, turn left on Kealahou Street. From Kealahou, turn left on the single lane road leading to Koko Crater Stables and Botanic Garden.
