Description
Easy to start. Fast paced for the first 1/4 mile. The trail takes a right at the rock quarry and starts to go up, fast. At about a 45 degree angle, this is the hardest part of the hike. If you suck it up and keep pushing it's over fast. Be aware that climbing this section in the rain or in the winter is a bit risky. The quarry cliff edges are constantly below you on this climb. The top is a nice walk looking over the edge of the giant's chin. There are often ropes set up for climbers. DO NOT mess with these. They are life lines. The trail heads down on the opposite side but not nearly as long or intense as the section going up. Cross the tower trail and keep going up. This is not a hard section of the trail. There are still some steeps but they are short and easy climbs with good foot placements on the rocks. Eventually you will come to the tower. Great views. Keep on and you'll come to another. More nice rock faces for climbing as well as a square pillar. The rest of the trail is full of ups and downs with more views and a little rock climbing. The first part is far more intense and enjoyable to one who likes to work their body. Enjoy and see you there.

Directions to Hike
Go to the back of the loop. Park on the right side just after the left hand bend and the trail starts going down and left when facing the woods.
