Shelter Information
User Comments
Duncan, 10/10/05 "The cabin is enclosed and is an excellent refuge. Water is sparce, even in wet seasons (the shelter is, after all, situated on a mountaintop). There is an enormous fire tower on top of Smarts (100 feet from the cabin) that affords magnificent views north to Moosilauke, southeast to Cardigan, and west to the Green Mountains. It is even possible to sleep in the firetower, but it can get extremely cold." Please feel free to add your own comments. Fill in your name, comments, and rate this shelter on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest.
