"A short hike to a remote feel, in a gorgeous setting that is however so dense with trees and the nearby ramparts that the views are somewhat obscured at the hut and bunkhouse. On this side of 16 the added benefit of less overall traffic. A good place for a reunion or event: rocky though, so take your time if you're a novice or have children with you."

"This shelter is clean and has fresh water, sinks, beds, and kitchen facilities. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. It has a gorgeous view and plenty of hikes around the hut."
