Zip, 09/08/07 "The spring that serves as water source has almost dried up. We fastened a ziploc bag around the pipe, this allowed us to collect 2 liters over a 2 hour period. "
Greenman, 09/07/04 "This shelter is a unique rock shelter with a fireplace. Pretty cool. Visited by deer. Decent privy and good spring."
frogt, 04/03/05 "Average shelter but good water and cool composting privy! Good small flat tenting area immediately next to shelter. Except for right next to the shelter there are no good camping spots, the surrounding woods are thick with steep ravines, mudholes, thorns etc. "
shmeesh, 01/03/08 "I loved Trimpi. The shelter itself was really neat, and the fireplace was really nice. However, when we arrived at Trimpi, the fire was already burning and there was a pair of wet socks and two waterbottles near ther fire. At about 1 in the morning we heard maniacle laughter coming from right outside the shelter and saw someone running outside. The laughter continued throughout the night, yet everyone from our group was there. In the morning we checked for other campsites, or signs of people near Trimpi and there were none. This really freaked our group out, and we have been striving to find any ghost stories surrounding Trimpi... :)" Please feel free to add your own comments.
