Linda, 08/15/05 "Good water - although the anticipation of a "shower" left me scratching my head. Also found no bear pole - and the hooks in the cooking shed cannot be used for "holding" food from bears. Also, found many of our small items behind the shelter in the a.m. - presumably some small animal was very busy the previous night. Good cooking shed, and fairly good shelter layout for accomodating the 10 of us who shared it that night. Would definitely stay there again."
Dogpaw, 05/01/06 "No problems with critters in April of 2006. Area was kind of wet, but I was glad to stop after getting off the rollercoaster section to the north. Nice secluded spot."
Josh Polus, 03/11/04 "I stayed at Rod hollow shelter in november and the weather was great, the camping clean and the early morning was cool but crisp. the covered picnic pavilion area was good if its raining and also has bear holders for food"
Cory G., 02/01/06 "I just stopped for lunch on a day hike but it was much nicer than I expected to see. I would and plan on stopping there again. Maybe I'll spend the night next time."
