nicole elder, 02/03/03User Rating:  "they built a snazzy new shelter here a few years back when i still lived there...scuttlebutt said earl schaffer wouldn't stay in it when he did his anniversary thru hike...little too fancy for my taste too...the old one was still there last i new and was just fine...not too far from a road crossing tho, so you do get a lot of weekend warriors..."
