From the Campground "A" trailhead the trail runs through the woods to the base of tall rock cliffs that tower over head. The trail then starts the switchbacks that take you on up until your mid way up the cliffs. The trail runs across the cliffs with a drop off to your left and cliffs overhanging your head to the right. The trail then starts the switchbacks again until your at the top of the cliffs. It winds on around the clifftops then back into the woods. After winding through the woods the trail comes out onto Yellow Rock. This is one of the best views in the Ozarks. As you stand on the edge of Yellow Rock cliff the Ozark Mountains just stand out before you almost like a 3-D picture. At the base of the mountains is Lee Creek Valley. Lee Creek winds through the valley. After soaking up the view for a while the trail continues back into the woods on up to the overlook at the Hwy. 170 trailhead. This is another great overlook. There is a wood shelter at this overlook. Take the trail back down the hill and keep to the right to return to the campground trailhead
