Angel Rocks Trail leads to a series of gorgeous granite outcroppings. The Trail begins by following the Chena River upstream for about a mile to a fork in the trail. From here take a right and begin a gradual climb along the side of a small stream. Shortly after reaching the stream, the trail turns sharply to the left and begins a fairly steep climb for about 1.5 miles to the first rocks. From here the trail continues to climb through more rocks to the upper ridge with terrific views of the valley below, and Chena Dome. Then the trail continues down a steep, less developed trail as it weaves through the remaining granitic outcroppings before descending to the base of the hill and back to the fork in the trail. Turn right and return along the river to the trailhead.
