Seach Latta Outdoors for Polar Pure.
Reviews
"I had bought a bottle of Polar Pure over a year ago and didn't use it. I took it on a backpacking trip to Pictured Rocks, with three other people and used it there, when the indicator soon started telling me I needed additional capfulls. It worked great, I would just suggest that you use newer bottles and bring multiple bottles, if possible. Having to wait an hour to re-energize the bottle so you can use the entire bottle on one liter of water was not fun.
I would like to express, though that it was easy to use, efficiant, and the best part, cheap."
"After using iodine pills to purify water, over and over and over, I
got annoyed. The kept getting wet and soggy and when your
hands were cold they were a pain to get out of the bottle. This is
when I was introduced to Polar Pure. It's a little bottle with the
iodine inside. You add water, let iodine disolve into the water and
then use the water into your own drinking container. This stuff
works like a charm (I've used it in stagnet, discoloured, little bucgs
floating around, and I'm still regular.) and can be used to make
thousands of litres of water. This stuff is great for in Canada
camping."
